Flirty Apron Swap

I received my apron from Teresa in Washington from the Flirty Apron Swap (FlirtyApronSwap.blogspot.com). I loved all the goodies Teresa sent. She did a fantastic job on my apron and even made the little "boo" door hanger. She is most definitely a professional seamstress!

We went out of town on Tuesday to San Marcus for a nite away. I've been working around 70 hours a week and seem to be passing my husband in the hallway. It was his birthday so I took off for a couple of days. No work, no phone calls but also no Chloe Belle! She stayed home and guarded the farm. Tuesday we shopped the outlet malls in San Marcus. Oh Victoria Secret Outlet store is to die for! Such bargins! A nice dinner, a nice hotel room and then on Wednesday on to Gruene, Texas! A quaint little historical town just a few miles from San Marcus. For those Country Music Lovers, that's where George Strait got his start. It's got the oldest honkey tonk in the world there (Gruene Hall) and Lots of antiquing! I found a beautiful set of 6 white demask white linen napkins (of course I bought them!), a beautiful table runner with hand embroderied PINK flowers (yes, I bought that too) and then best for last .. a darling vintage sheer apron. It's blue with pink flowers and I love the design. I'll surely make a pattern using it for future apron swaps! Oh, did I mention I bought it too? lol.... and the best part of the apron was it was only $4 !!!!

Then on to home to get ready for back to work today. I posted pics today on FAS for everyone to see the fantastic package Teresa sent me. And voila .. notice Shawnee has her Christmas apron swap up and ready to go! I guess I'll have to force myself to sign up for that one too! lol This is going to be addicting!

Thanks again, Teresa for my wonderful package(decorateandredesign.typepad.com) and thank you Shawnee for all you do so we can all enjoy these swaps.

  1. Hi Sharon, I hope my comments finds it's way to you. Your words truly touched me on my blog post. My blog truly is my form of therapy. At times I think it would be MUCH cheaper to actually use a real one! A Taco Bell puppy and an escape artist, who knew! Oh my gosh I may not survive this puppy of our daughter. It's the gates we keep leaving open in the house that are causing us the most grief. Nahla ate one of my sofa cushions!!! The part you sit on!!! IYYYYEEEEE! I need a taco! So happy to meet you! Elizabeth
